Mr. Bucky and Mrs. Dot were both friends with my parents. I had the pleasure of doing their hair for many years. I loved all the stories that Mr. Bucky would tell me about all the years at Travis Field where he met my father. Mr. Bucky will surely be missed. He is now at rest with Mrs. Dot, God bless them and may they rest in peace.

While visiting family and friends in Savannah about a year ago, I was blessed to meet Mr.Bucky. I looked forward to hearing the many stories and adventures he told while sharing a meal or just visiting with him. He is a gentleman and I treasure the short time I knew him.

Jennifer, I am so sadden by this wonderful man’s passing. He was warm, funny, and gracious--I was so blessed to have known and loved such a special man and to have spent time with him. I claim the promise that we will see him again in a much better place.
